Duke of Edinburgh Award

A group of 117 students from Grange successfully participated as volunteers in the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Award scheme. Dedicating their time to various local community, charity, and school-based initiatives, these young people actively developed vital life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and civic responsibility.

According to the official DofE social value calculations—which measure the positive community impact and the monetary worth of volunteer hours—the collective efforts of these 117 students generated an estimated £833 in social value. This achievement highlights not only the students' personal growth and dedication but also the tangible financial and social boost they provided to their wider community.
