Successful Safeguarding Coffee Morning Welcomes Over 50 Families
July 11th, 2025 — A warm and welcoming atmosphere filled the school last half term as we hosted a highly successful Safeguarding Coffee Morning, bringing together over 50 families, including parents of our incoming Year 7 cohort.
The event, held on Thursday, July 11th, 2025 served as a valuable opportunity for staff and families to connect, share important safeguarding information, and strengthen our school community. Attendees enjoyed fresh coffee and cake while engaging in conversations around student wellbeing, school support services, and community engagement.
In addition to the informative discussions, families were able to take home a range of free giveaways, including toys, a pram, school uniforms, clothing, food parcels, and hygiene essentials—generously provided to support our community.
“It was fantastic to see so many families come together,” said Mary Holt- DSL “Events like this really help build trust and open communication, which are key to safeguarding our students.”
Due to the positive feedback and strong turnout, we are excited to announce plans to host a Safeguarding Coffee Morning once every term going forward. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, and we look forward to welcoming even more families to our next event.
Together, we continue to build a safer, more supportive environment for all.
