To launch 'Green Careers Week' this morning, all students in Year 7 & 8 had the opportunity to meet with 5 different 'Green' Employers from Acadis, KPMG LLP, Northern Gas Networks, and Keltbray. The event, hosted by Ahead Partnership, was an opportunity for students to learn more about Green Careers, the different opportunities available and the skills required. Students were able to learn from experts about different routes and pathways to future careers whilst also considering their impact now on the environment and how they can change their lifestyle and choices to support sustainability. This was a fantastic opportunity for students, and we were all very impressed with the range of thoughtful questions that were asked. We look forward to learning more about Green Careers and our impact on the environment throughout the week.
